Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Mining Construction Coordinator (Site Services) to oversee onsite construction site support services for a large mining EPCM project. This full-time onsite role offers flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S.

with preference in Nevada, Utah, or near major mining sites. You will coordinate site services contractors, manage schedules and costs, ensure safety compliance, and act as the interface between the construction team and vendors to drive on-budget, on-schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of heavy civil construction, mining infrastructure, or related project experience.
• Hands-on construction coordination in active mining settings; ability to manage multiple vendors.
• Safety-focused: MSHA 48B Surface required; OSHA 30-hour training preferred.
• Experience developing scopes of work, estimating schedule and cost, and liaison with procurement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scoping, purchasing, scheduling, and oversight of site services contractors.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, and costs aligned with project schedule.
• Interface between WSP construction management and contractors for communication and risk mitigation.
• Drive safety culture and ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Maintain records, assist in invoices/change orders, QAQC inspection of services.
• Adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and policies.
