Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Mining Construction Coordinator (Site Services) to oversee onsite construction site support for a large mining EPCM project. This full-time onsite role can be based anywhere in the United States, with preference for Nevada, Utah, or near major mining projects.

Travel per diem is available for non-locals. Responsibilities include managing site services contractors, developing execution plans and costs, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with the construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in large-scale heavy civil construction/mining infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating site services with multiple vendors.
• MSHA 48B Surface certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred.
• Ability to liaise between procurement and contractors.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage scoping/purchasing, scheduling, coordination, and oversight of site services contractors and services (e.g., temporary facilities, security, utilities, road maintenance, surveyors, emergency response, site radio and internet, etc.) with focus on safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
• Develop and manage execution plans, schedules, and costs to align site services with the project schedule.
• Serve as the interface between WSP construction management team and contractors/service providers to ensure efficient communication, on budget/schedule delivery, and risk mitigation.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements on site.
• Maintain accurate daily records and tracking, assist in validating invoices and change orders, and perform QA/QC inspection of services.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and policies.
