Job summary

WSP is seeking a Mining Construction Coordinator (Site Services) to oversee onsite construction site support services for a large mining EPCM project within our Earth & Environment team. This full-time onsite role can be based anywhere in the United States, with preference for Nevada, Utah, or proximity to major mining projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale heavy civil construction, process facilities, and/or mining infrastructure.
• MSHA 48B Surface required and OSHA 30-hour training preferred.
• Experience developing scopes of work and estimating schedule and cost.
• Ability to liaise between procurement and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage scoping, purchasing, scheduling, coordination, and oversight of site services contractors and services (e.g., temporary facilities, security, utilities, road maintenance, surveyors, emergency response, site radio and internet).
• Develop and manage execution plans, schedules, and costs to align site services with the overall project schedule.
• Interface between WSP construction management team and contractors/service providers to ensure efficient communication, on-budget delivery, and risk mitigation.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements on site.
• Maintain accurate daily records and tracking, assist in validating invoices and change orders, and perform QA/QC inspections of services.
