Job summary

WSP is seeking a Mining Construction Coordinator (Site Services) to oversee and coordinate onsite construction site support services for a large mining EPCM project. This full-time onsite position can be from anywhere in the United States with preference in Nevada, Utah, or near major mining projects.

Travel per diem is available for those not local to the projects. The role ensures site services meet safety, regulatory and client requirements and supports successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in large-scale heavy civil construction, process facilities, or mining infrastructure.
• Hands-on construction coordination in active mining settings with multiple vendors.
• Commitment to safety with MSHA 48B and OSHA 30 training preferred.
• Experience developing scopes of work and liaising between procurement and contractors.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scoping/purchasing, scheduling, coordination, and oversight of site services contractors.
• Develop and manage execution plans, schedules, and costs to align with project timelines.
• Interface between WSP construction management and contractors to ensure on-budget delivery.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Maintain records, validate invoices and change orders, and QAQC inspection of services.
• Adhere to company policies and code of conduct in all decisions.
