Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join our Telluride project team onsite in Telluride, CO. You will oversee field and administrative activities, manage safety, and coordinate with subcontractors to deliver a high-quality hospitality project on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in field and project construction management, proven leadership, and strong cost-control and scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ extensive field and project construction management experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven history of leading others, teaching, developing and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Construct the project in accordance with plans, schedule, specifications, and standards.
• Lead subcontractors and field employees on a jobsite.
• Lead project safety in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy.
• Collaborate with Project Manager(s) to manage schedule, budget and staffing.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, prepare two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Assist with buyout and selection of major subcontractors.
• Identify ways to reduce cost, improve schedule dates, and project quality.
• Ensure project documents are accurate and in compliance (closeout docs, submittals, logs).
• Review and enforce all contract terms and obligations.
• Adhere to company policies, standards, and procedures.
