The Weitz Company’s Rocky Mountain unit is seeking a Field Engineer to be located onsite in Telluride, CO, supporting a landmark hospitality project. You will work with an experienced project team, assist with planning, CS&E, and cost tracking, and help ensure project milestones are met.

Relocation to Telluride for the project duration is required; the role offers hands-on field experience and growth within a respected national contractor with a long history of excellence.

Competenze

• Industry-related college degree required.
• Two years of project management construction experience or internship.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to balance multiple projects with deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Mansioni

• Participate in development of project plan and risk mitigation plans.
• Support design changes to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Assist Superintendent with equipment review and planning.
• Assist with pre-construction meetings with subcontractors.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials on site.
• Assist with layout communication to involved parties.
• Assist with site logistics and site cleanup.
• Maintain accurate cost reporting.
• Respond to RFIs and coordinate field responses.
• Assist in schedule development and updating; document delays.
• Monitor field performance of subcontractors, staff, schedules, costs.
• Maintain relations with owners' and architects' reps; assist with resolution.
• Set up and update project schedules using scheduling software.
