The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead field operations on large commercial projects in Denver, CO. You will drive safety, manage schedules, and coordinate with owners, designers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure profitable outcomes.

The role reports to the senior Project Manager and emphasizes building strong client and vendor relationships while delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience with safety, preconstruction, staff development, and customer interaction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Apple devices.
• Education: high school diploma required; industry-related degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on a job site.
• Maintain project safety in accordance with the company policy.
• Develop and update the project schedule.
• Prepare two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate the work of subcontractors’ field forces.
• Communicate effectively with owners, designers and engineers.
• Maintain accurate cost reports.
• Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures.
