Job summary

The Weitz Company seeks a Field Engineer to be located onsite in Telluride, Colorado, supporting a major hospitality project. The role requires relocation for the project duration and offers hands-on field experience alongside an experienced project team.

Responsibilities include assisting the superintendent with planning, scheduling, cost reporting, and coordination with subcontractors, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires an industry-related college degree.
• Prior construction-related project management experience or internship required.
• Strong communication, organization, and deadline management skills.
• Proficiency with office software and field systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervision on field work and subcontractors.
• Support development and execution of project plans and risk mitigation.
• Review equipment and layout with the superintendent, and update schedules.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings and site logistics.
• Maintain tools, materials, and cost reporting; respond to RFIs.
