Job summary

Actalent in Memphis, TN seeks a Project Coordinator to support a data center and substation construction project. The role is on-site, coordinating MEP activities and documentation, schedules, and quality processes for a large electrical and utility construction program.

Ideal candidates have construction site experience or related education, with strong organization, communication, and teamwork across civil, structural, electrical, and MEP disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience working on a construction site or internships on construction projects.
• Background in civil, structural, or concrete construction is preferred.
• Understanding of general contracting and construction management practices.
• Ability to coordinate project activities and support project engineering/management.
• Familiarity with RFIs and construction documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP activities across the project and align trades/subcontractors.
• Organize and maintain project contract documents and records for control/compliance.
• Assist in maintaining construction schedules and track progress/delays.
• Support quality control procedures to meet specs/standards.
• Contribute to safety program implementation on site.
• Review RFIs and ensure proper documentation and timely responses.
• Assist superintendent with site admin tasks (badging, emails, ordering).
• Participate in site walkthroughs and communicate findings to the team.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, electrical, and MEP teams for project engineering/management.
• Assist with estimating/planning for data center and substation work.
