Job summary

Microsoft, engaged through Allegis Global Solutions, seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction for a large-scale, mission-critical project in San Antonio, TX.

This onsite role provides hands-on field leadership, coordinating general contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction management with strong MEP experience.
• Experience on data center or mission-critical projects is highly preferred.
• Experience leading meetings and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite construction management and field leadership for MEP scopes.
• Coordinate MEP activities across general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and engineering teams.
• Monitor field execution to ensure alignment with plans, schedules, quality, and safety.
• Lead construction meetings, site coordination, progress reviews, and issue-resolution activities.
• Monitor schedules and milestones, identifying risks and impacts to delivery.
• Drive resolution of field and MEP coordination issues with contractors and teams.
• Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety and compliance with project requirements.
• Review drawings, specs, scopes of work, contracts, and cost estimates.
• Track progress and provide clear status updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Coordinate technical activities and ensure effective communication across teams.
• Support quality management to meet design intent and project requirements.
• Evaluate resource needs and sequencing to support execution.
• Provide leadership and decision-making to progress toward milestones.
• Present project information and findings to stakeholders as required.
• Support additional construction management activities as needed.
