Overview

MEP Field Coordinator – Mission-Critical Data Center Projects

We are seeking an experienced MEP Field Coordinator to oversee the coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on large-scale, mission-critical data center projects. This role suits someone with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary on-site point of contact for MEP subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with project schedules and specifications
  • Conduct daily inspections to verify quality, code compliance, and adherence to design standards
  • Review MEP drawings, manage redlines, and ensure accurate as-built documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Resolve field conflicts between trades and proactively identify potential installation issues
  • Support testing, commissioning, and final turnover, including punch list development and closeout
  • Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Participate in daily coordination meetings, providing progress updates to project leadership
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of MEP field coordination or related construction experience (mission-critical/data center experience strongly preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in large-scale projects
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, BIM 360, or Bluebeam
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a proactive mindset
