Job summary

Amazon Inc. in Ohio is seeking an experienced Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to support Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) at the site. You will assess and administer first aid, guide Associates on injuries, and coordinate with the WHS team and outside providers as needed.

The role emphasizes OSHA knowledge, ongoing BLS/EMT/Paramedic/Athletic Trainer certifications, and hands-on coaching on safe work practices. Flexible shifts and frequent frontline interactions are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved ECC provider and EMT or Paramedic certification.
• Athletic trainer certification (BOC or state) is required or preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and referrals to outside medical providers when needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education, coaching, and proactive engagement on the floor.
• Maintain accurate care records and coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for associates.
• Deliver daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports; assist with emergencies as needed.
