Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to support Workplace Health & Safety at a Lansing, MI site. You will provide first aid, guide Associate health, and coordinate care with external providers. Expect to participate in safety meetings and ongoing training, including CPR/AED and first aid education.

Flex shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends may be required. A strong background in BLS, EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certification is preferred and essential

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved ECC provider; AND one of: EMT or Paramedic Certification; OR Athletic Trainer Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and referrals to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness, education, and engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to Amazon Associates (AAs).
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with AAs and leadership to coach on safe work habits.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean environment.
• Facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED training certifications.
• Support on-site emergency response and drug testing protocols.
