Job summary

Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety team is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to provide first aid, guidance on occupational and non-occupational injuries, and to support safety operations on site. You will work with the WHS team and associates, maintaining records and assisting with return-to-work programs.

The role requires BLS certification and EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certification, with flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid BLS certification from a recognized provider.
• EMT or Paramedic certification OR Athletic Trainer certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside providers.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain care records for associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership on floor safety.
• Maintain clean environment and medical supply inventory.
• Attend first aid, CPR, and AED training sessions.
• Maintain all first aid and CPR credentials.
• Work flexible shifts including days/nights/holidays/weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response on site.
