Apex Systems seeks an Onsite Medical Representative for University Park, IL. The role combines clinical first aid with safety coaching and OSHA/compliance duties on a site-wide basis.

The position requires BLS and EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer credentials, with potential for training in first aid, CPR, and AED. Shifts may include days, nights, weekends. Onsite environment and medical supply management are key aspects.

Qualifikationen

• High School or equivalent diploma required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from ECC provider.
• EMT or Paramedic certification (NRP) or Athletic Trainer certification (BOC/state).
• If no adult First Aid/CPR/AED, certification must be obtained within 3 weeks of start date.

Aufgaben

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided and incident logs.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Deliver daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Provide coaching on on-the-floor safety and at-risk work habits.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and clean work environment.
• Facilitate first aid, CPR, AED training and credentialing.
• Support emergency response and onsite safety procedures.
• Support random saliva drug testing protocols.
