Job summary

Amazon seeks an Onsite Medical Representative to provide first aid, guidance on injuries, and safety coaching for associates at a Braselton site. You will work with WHS leaders to support daily health and safety operations and ensure compliance with OSHA and workers’ compensation processes.

The role requires medical certifications (BLS, EMT/Paramedic, athletic trainer) and experience in industrial wellness.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid BLS certification required.
• EMT or Paramedic certification or military medic experience within last year.
• Athletic trainer certification.
• Certification to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with industrial wellness programs.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and workers' compensation.
• Proficient in digital recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and refer to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize the AA risk through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to AAs.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for AAs with work-related injuries.
• Provide daily activity logs and end of shift reports.
• Engage with AAs and leadership on the operations floor to coach on observed at-risk work habits.
• Maintain a clean working environment and inventory of medical supplies.
• Participate in training to facilitate first aid, CPR and AED certification classes.
• Maintain all first aid, CPR, AED credentials.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, weekends.
• Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
• Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist emergency response on site.
