The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least two years in a medical office setting, with strong communication and organizational skills. Onsite work in Streeterville supports comprehensive outpatient services.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a medical office or hospital setting.
• Familiarity with database entry and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively in a team.
• Strong verbal communication and prioritization skills.
• General PC knowledge.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient interactions with discretion.

Aufgaben

• Answer and screen telephone calls courteously and record messages for physicians and staff.
• Schedule patient appointments and procedures according to policies.
• Obtain accurate patient information and complete registration forms; collect payments.
• Copy patient information and forward with proper consent to release medical records.
• Greet patients and visitors, assist and direct while maintaining confidentiality.
• Support organizational duties and respond to emergencies; report issues to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
