UChicago Medicine River East in Chicago, IL seeks a Medical Assistant to join the Ambulatory Float team. This 100% onsite role involves patient care, clerical support, and clinical procedures under RN/physician supervision.

Eligible candidates must be certified CMA with BLS and a year of medical office experience. Located in the Streeterville area, the River East clinic offers a dynamic outpatient environment with a focus on collaboration and patient care.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a certified program for Medical Assistants
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Phlebotomy training; Phlebotomist license and work experience, if required by practice
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working in a medical office/facility
• Certified Medical Assistant

Responsabilidades

• Fulfills patient care responsibilities including assisting patients and charting
• Fulfills clerical responsibilities such as scheduling and records handling
• Maintains infection control and cleanliness of rooms and equipment
• Supports patient rights and responds to emergencies as needed
• Assists with clinical procedures, vital signs, specimen handling, and basic lab tasks
