UChicago Medicine River East, part of our world-class academic healthcare system, seeks a Practice Supervisor for the UCM Medical Group. This 100% onsite role will supervise clinical and administrative operations in a multi-specialty setting and partner with leadership to improve health-care delivery and efficiency in the River East clinic in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field required.
• 5+ years of healthcare and customer service experience.
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership abilities.
• Experience working with physician leaders in an academic medical center.
• Ability to use data to drive performance improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of clinical and administrative operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (JCAHO, IDPH, CAP/CLIA).
• Coordinate with providers and staff to optimize patient throughput.
• Manage patient needs and service recovery efforts.
• Provide staff supervision and mentoring.
• Support HIPAA compliance and accurate patient information intake.
• Analyze patient flow and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with practice supervisors and leadership.
