Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to support Workplace Health & Safety at a Glendale location. You will provide first aid, coordinate care, and coach associates on safety practices, while collaborating with the WHS team and site leadership.

The role requires current BLS, EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certification, with flexibility to cover various shifts and participate in trainings for CPR/AED and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• EMT or Paramedic Certification required or equivalent.
• Athletic Trainer Certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and referrals to outside medical providers.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all care records for associates.
• Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach associates and leadership on safe work practices.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean environment.
• Facilitate first aid, CPR and AED trainings.
• Maintain first aid, CPR, AED credentials.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols.
• Deliver care during emergencies and assist with site response.
