UMass Memorial Health in Northborough, MA is seeking a Medical Assistant for a 40-hour, day-shift on-site role. You will escort patients, record vital signs, perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and Point-of-Care tests, while supporting routine clinical procedures.

Required: high school diploma, BLS/Heart Saver, and MA-DOH approved MA credential within 1 year. A $3,000 signing bonus is available and the position is non-exempt with on-site work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Heart Saver (HS) certification from the American Heart Association; must obtain within 3 months if not available at hire.
• Medical Assistant credential approved by Massachusetts Department of Health must be obtained within 1 year of hire/transfer.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to examination rooms and record vital signs.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and Point of Care tests per clinic standards.
• Assist with routine physical examinations and clinical procedures.
• Review laboratory results and escalate abnormal findings to physicians.
