Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required within 3 months of hire.
• Medical Assistant credential must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to examination rooms and record vital signs.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and POC tests.
• Administer non-intravenous injections as directed.
• Assist in performing routine physical examinations.
• Review laboratory results and report abnormalities.
