Mass General Brigham's Internal Medicine practice at 194 North Street in Danvers, MA is seeking an onsite Medical Assistant to join a 36-hour work week, Monday through Friday. The standard shift is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a shorter Wednesday.

The MA will work 1:1 with a provider part of the clinic, supporting the provider on three days and assisting the broader team on remaining days. Prior MA experience is preferred; certification is not required, and the team offers hands-on training.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• 1–2 years MA or medical field work experience required.
• Certification (BLS/CMA) preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Take vital signs, document patient information, and record in the medical record.
• Interview patients, collect specimens as needed, and prepare for testing.
• Explain treatment procedures and physician instructions to patients; provide educational materials.
• Perform general office duties and manage patient flow; assist with scheduling and insurance forms.
• Provide immunizations or assist with immunizations as applicable, under supervision.

Associate's Degree Medical Assisting preferred

BLS Certification preferred
