Mass General Brigham Community Physicians in Medford seeks a full-time Medical Assistant to support clinical and non-clinical patient services onsite. You will take vital signs, document patient information, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow under supervision.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years MA or medical field experience, and either a High School Diploma or an Associate’s in Medical Assisting, with BLS and CMA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• 1–2 years direct MA or medical field experience.
• BLS and CMA certifications preferred.
• Onsite 40-hour workweek, day shift.

Responsabilités

• Assist junior Medical Assistants and participate in onboarding.
• Escort patients to rooms, prep equipment, interview and record vital signs.
• Explain procedures and medications; provide educational materials.
• Handle phone calls, dictation, insurance forms; liaise with departments.
• Collect/log specimens; perform phlebotomy if competent.
• Maintain immunization stock and check expirations.
• Provide immunizations when certified or supervised.
• Support quality initiatives like patient identifiers and hand hygiene.
