Job summary

Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems in Redmond, WA is seeking a Master Scheduler to mentor teams and lead cross-functional planning. You will develop master production schedules, align supply with demand, and present data to senior leadership to guide key decisions.

This onsite role requires deep experience in SIOP, PFEP, Heijunka and kanban practices, plus strong analytical skills. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement and production control to optimize capacity, control

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
APICS or related certification preferred.
Typically 8+ years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position.
Demonstrated experience as a Master Scheduler or in a comparable production planning role across multiple settings.
Proven track record scheduling and building stocking plans for NPI programs with Supply Chain.
Experience collaborating with Product groups on demand planning processes.
Experience designing and monitoring planning metrics including KPIs.
Experience developing SIOP/SOP data and metrics for Operations/Sales alignment.

Responsibilities

Develop Master Production schedule and Production Plan for multiple programs and product groups.
Perform quarterly Excess inventory review for evaluation of scrap.
Create inventory health level strategies and kanban programs.
Evaluates changes in forecast and demand to determine required stock levels.
Creates standard work and updates ES documents for Master Scheduling processes.
Provide analysis of historical and forecasted data to program management to support customers.
Produce revenue projections and forecasting for multiple programs and product groups.
Host monthly Supply and Capacity review meetings for NPI and Production.
Create, collate and present Alignment data and materials for leadership.
Respond to requests for sales commitments of parts by coordinating with Supply Chain.
Document and monitor TAT for requests; update processes accordingly.
Conduct root cause analysis for schedule delays with procurement, engineering and quality teams.
Produce monthly product group sales forecasts and maintain ERP data.
Enter and maintain Sales Forecasts and IDs related to Eng/Program activities; provide monthly analysis.
Monitor schedule adherence and inventory weekly to reach OTD goals.
Produce capacity plans for human resources and production floor; work with VSM.
Create and execute production schedules 3-18 months out; act as focal for audits.
Lead SIOP Supply and Capacity Review meetings for Production and NPI.
Lead SIOP Alignment meetings for Program leadership.
Present Sales Commit TAT data at KPI reviews.
