Job summary

Ascentec Engineering, a multi-site manufacturing company in Oregon, is seeking a Senior Factory Production Planner / Master Scheduler to translate demand, forecasts, backlog, and priorities into an executable MPS across sites.

You will coordinate with Customer Service, Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality, using Epicor Kinetic and Planet Together APS to drive demand-to-capacity planning and schedule governance. This onsite role requires strong cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or Business.
• 5–8+ years of progressive demand planning, production planning, and master scheduling experience.
• Demonstrated ownership of a Master Production Schedule in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of MRP, MPS, RCCP, finite-capacity planning, inventory management, planning parameters, time fences, and S&OP/SIOP or S&OE principles.
• Advanced ERP, Excel, data-analysis, and planning-system capability.
• Strong facilitation, communication, judgment, and cross-functional influence skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer demand, forecasts, backlog, and commercial inputs into a time-phased production plan across sites.
• Develop, maintain, and govern the Master Production Schedule across the planning horizon.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Capacity Planning, and Operations to balance labor, machines, and material constraints.
• Lead regular master-schedule reviews and ensure plan stability amid disruptions.
• Use Epicor Kinetic and Planet Together APS for demand-to-capacity analysis and schedule alignment.
• Drive cross-functional decisions and continuous improvement in planning processes.
