Job summary

TT Electronics plc is seeking a Master Scheduler to develop and maintain a comprehensive site master production schedule in a high-mix EMS environment. You will translate customer demand, material availability, capacity, and priorities into an executable manufacturing plan and coordinate across Planning, Procurement, Operations, and Customer Service to protect delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management, business, engineering, or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of production planning, scheduling, materials, or supply-chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of MRP, ERP systems, BOM structures, lead times, inventory management, capacity planning, and material requirements.
• EMS experience in electronics manufacturing or high-mix/low-volume environments strongly preferred.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM or similar certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule across SMT, through-hole, selective solder, inspection/test, box build, and other manufacturing operations.
• Translate customer orders, forecasts, backlog, and contractual delivery requirements into an executable site-level production plan.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Production, Quality, and Finance to ensure launch activities are on schedule.
• Balance competing customer priorities while minimizing schedule disruption and excessive work-in-process.
• Maintain visibility to planned versus actual production performance and adjust schedules as conditions change.
• Support inventory optimization by aligning production releases with actual material requirements and demand.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning, scheduling, ERP utilization, and production-control processes.
