Job summary

Astronics-PECO, located in Clackamas, Oregon, is seeking a Master Scheduler to own the master production schedule across multiple programs. You will translate customer demand, forecasts, and inventory strategy into a feasible, capacity-constrained production plan, aligning with the SIOP process.

You will review forecasts, lead RCCP, and collaborate with engineering, planning and operations to manage disruptions and maintain schedule integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred (ASCM/ISM certification preferred).
• 5-7 years production experience as a Planner or Master scheduler, preferably in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and/or PowerBI for data analysis
• Intermediate ability to read technical documents (prints, Work Instructions, Bills of Material)
• Lean concepts preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule and production plan for multiple programs/product groups, balancing customer demand with department capacity and supply chain constraints in alignment with the SIOP process.
• Reviews and maintains forecasts from various stakeholders, including account management, engineering and Project management.
• Lead rough-cut capacity planning (RCCP) to validate schedule feasibility against labor, equipment, and material constraints, escalating capacity requirements planning (CRP) needs as necessary.
• Works with Engineering, Planning, and Operations to monitor production execution and assists in developing contingency plans for disruptions.
• Works with planning staff to establish and maintain scheduling policies, planning horizons, time fences, and lot-sizing rules within the ERP/MRP system, ensuring data integrity and schedule accuracy.
• Responsible for driving accurate demand related to integration of Engineering Change Management into the production schedule with minimal disruption to throughput and highlighting these changes to Planning & Production.
• Create and update standard work, guidelines, and work instructions for Master Scheduling processes.
