Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Three or more years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, materials planning, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of MRP, ERP systems, bills of materials, routings, work orders, and inventory control.
• Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes including SMT, PCBA, through-hole assembly, testing, and final assembly.
• Experience planning production in make-to-order, build-to-stock, or mixed manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production planning reports.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on orders, forecasts, inventory, capacity, and delivery requirements.
• Establish daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for multiple product lines and work centers.
• Prioritize orders based on commitments, priorities, material availability, and constraints.
• Schedule and coordinate assembly, through-hole assembly, final assembly, testing, and other processes.
• Monitor schedule adherence and adjust priorities as demand or materials change.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to establish realistic start and completion dates.
• Manage schedule changes to minimize disruption and WIP.
• Review BOMs, inventory balances, open POs, and production requirements to ensure materials availability.
• Execute and maintain MRP activities within the ERP system.
• Identify shortages and work with Purchasing to expedite critical components.
• Monitor supplier delivery dates and communicate material risks affecting schedules.
• Release and maintain production work orders per the approved schedule.
• Track production progress, WIP, and completion dates across operations.
• Communicate priorities to production and supporting departments.
• Support on-time delivery performance and provide reliable completion estimates.
• Analyze capacity, labor, equipment, and demand to support capacity planning.
