Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Training Coordinator to develop, implement, and evaluate training programs that support performance, safety, and career development at the Wheatland, PA facility. You will work with leadership and production teams to ensure staff receive essential training and resources.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in training and strong proficiency in Office tools, with excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of training, learning and development, workforce development, or related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor facility training programs.
• Partner with management to assess workforce training needs and identify development opportunities.
• Collaborate with floor leads and supervisors on employee evaluations, skill assessments, and development planning.
• Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and update training materials and curriculum as needed.
• Manage training documentation, records, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate and track employee participation and progress within the Department Mastery Program (DMP).
• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
• Create and maintain training materials, presentations, brochures, multimedia resources, and visual aids.
• Deliver training through classroom instruction, demonstrations, on‑the‑job training, workshops, meetings, and conferences.
• Provide feedback and training recommendations to facility leadership regarding employee performance and development.
• Facilitate continuing education and leadership development programs.
