Canton Drop Forge, Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruitment for a range of manufacturing roles, partnering with Operations and HR to forecast staffing needs and build strong talent pipelines.

You will represent the company at career fairs and community events while maintaining a high-standard candidate experience. The role requires coordinating with department leaders, sourcing through multiple channels, and using an ATS to track metrics and improve

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition or recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred; unionized manufacturing is a plus.
• Proven ability to source candidates and build talent pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill roles.
• Experience building relationships with schools, workforce organizations, and community partners.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient with ATS, online sourcing platforms, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment lifecycle from opening a position to offer and pre-employment steps.
• Lead high-volume recruitment for hourly production and skilled manufacturing roles.
• Source candidates via job boards, direct sourcing, social media, referrals, and networks.
• Coordinate career fairs and community partnerships to build talent pipelines.
• Collaborate with Operations and leaders to understand workforce needs and recruitment challenges.
• Ensure a professional candidate experience and support employer branding efforts.
• Maintain accurate ATS data and report recruiting metrics for leadership review.
• Continuously improve recruiting processes and tools.
