Job summary

Actalent in Passaic, NJ is seeking an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure OSHA and EPA compliance and foster a strong safety culture while partnering with operations, maintenance, engineering, HR, and leadership.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, training delivery, and maintaining safety records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field; 3+ years EHS in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Experience in manufacturing, foundry, environmental compliance, and safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs; ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and maintain safety records.
• Deliver employee training and promote a strong safety culture.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, HR, and leadership to reduce risk and drive continuous improvement.
