Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to join our on-site maintenance team at a mid-rise property. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and completing work orders to keep the community clean, safe, and functional. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with rotating on-call.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (applies to Certified Service Technicians).
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance while diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Executes make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing, creates punch lists, schedules vendors, and inspects completed work.
• Manages materials and tools from the maintenance department and tracks inventory; notifies supervisor when reordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately to support tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning, painting, and performing basic upkeep as needed.
• Supports cost-control by using parts efficiently and following proper tool usage.
