Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Pinewood Estates in Albuquerque, NM. You will diagnose defects, perform preventative maintenance, and handle make-ready tasks for vacant apartments, while ensuring safety and code compliance.

The role includes inventory control, documentation, and upkeep of common areas. Responsibilities include liaising with vendors, scheduling repairs, and supporting cost-control measures.

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on property size, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and repair in accordance with policy, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting work.
• Access and track materials, supplies, and tools; return unused items and notify re-ordering needs.
• Complete documentation and paperwork timely and accurately for service requests to be tracked.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and trash/debris removal.
• Support cost-control by fixing instead of replacing parts and using resources efficiently.
• Assist in property inspections to identify safety and risk concerns and communicate needs to management.
