Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical integrity, safety, and appearance of our Build-to-Rent communities. This role supports resident satisfaction and retention through timely maintenance requests and proactive upkeep.

The candidate will perform routine and preventive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general tasks, conduct inspections, and respond promptly to emergencies. Strong technical skills and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or trade school certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently while minimizing disruption to residents.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergency maintenance requests.
• Serve as a primary onsite point of contact for resident maintenance issues and service requests.
• Communicate clearly with residents regarding work order status and timelines.
