Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician to uphold a clean, safe, and well‑maintained living environment for residents. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, handle work orders, and respond to emergencies while communicating clearly with residents and coordinating with onsite teams.

The role requires strong technical skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, Build-to-Rent setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Experience in residential or property maintenance is required.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently while minimizing disruption to residents.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergency maintenance requests.
• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for resident maintenance issues and service requests.
