Job summary

Maymont Homes in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, renovations, and ongoing maintenance across a portfolio of single-family rental homes.

You will diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and appliances, complete work orders via mobile devices, and coordinate with dispatch and vendors to ensure timely service. A strong focus on safety and resident satisfaction is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of residential maintenance experience.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications preferred.
• EPA Certification or equivalent license preferred.
• Experience in single-family rental environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance across assigned properties.
• Diagnose and complete repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general home systems.
• Complete and document work orders accurately and promptly using company-issued mobile devices.
• Coordinate with dispatch, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely service completion.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for daily maintenance activities.
• Provide a high level of customer service as the primary field representative.
