Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our community. You will handle work orders, perform routine upkeep, and manage the make-ready process for vacant units, while coordinating with vendors and maintaining supplies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, hands-on maintenance experience, and EPA certifications if HVAC work is involved. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trades.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification required for HVAC work.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, exteriors, interiors, signage, and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work by service teams and contractors to ensure quality.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools and assist with budgeting for repairs.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance and MSDS availability.
• Provide courteous, responsive service to residents and colleagues.
