Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in carrying out maintenance processes at the property, including corrective, preventive, routine, and cosmetic tasks. The Porter works under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to ensure maintenance objectives are met.

The role requires daily on-site attendance, basic computer skills, and adherence to safety standards; responsibilities include grounds and common area upkeep and timely response to maintenance requests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, buildings, breezeways, and community areas; assist in corrective, preventive, routine, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Participate in on-call emergencies and support maintenance supervisor and community manager.
