Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Spare Parts Coordinator / Maintenance Planner & Scheduler in Hackettstown, NJ. The role focuses on coordinating PM schedules, maintaining spare parts inventories, and ensuring maintenance teams have the resources needed to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has experience in inventory management, maintenance planning, or purchasing within manufacturing and is comfortable with CMMS tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in maintenance planning, spare parts coordination, inventory or purchasing in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve preventive maintenance schedules and work orders using a CMMS.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to minimize downtime.
• Prepare maintenance job plans with parts, labor estimates, and safety procedures.
• Track equipment maintenance history and component replacement schedules.
• Manage spare parts inventory levels and cycle counts.
• Coordinate with purchasing to order and expedite parts.
• Maintain and prioritize work orders based on criticality and production needs.
• Generate reports on PM compliance, downtime, and inventory accuracy.
