Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in the maintenance of Palmilla 228 community. The porter supports corrective, preventive, routine, and cosmetic tasks under supervision to meet property objectives. Duties include grounds and building upkeep, responding to work orders, and aiding in safety and compliance.

The role emphasizes strong on-site presence, teamwork with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, and commitment to excellent resident relations and property standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily maintenance tasks for the property and grounds.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Assist in preventative and routine maintenance to sustain property condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and follow safety standards.
• Participate in on-call emergencies as needed.
• Support Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager in assigned tasks.
