Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our client’s Melville, NY office. This is a permanent onsite position, offering a full-time role in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will schedule domestic truck movements, manage routing and tracking to ensure on-time delivery, and prepare shipping documentation while coordinating with the warehouse to verify freight readiness. Strong communication and ERP/MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Good organizational skills and professional attitude; able to work without close supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and experience with ERP systems.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Schedule domestic trucks to and from vendors.
• Coordinate scheduling, routing and tracking of shipments for on-time delivery.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation (bills, labels, tracking).
• Check with warehouse that freight is ready to go.
