Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of shipping, receiving, and inventory control experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Shipping & logistics plan and coordinate on-time customer deliveries.
• Prepare daily inbound and outbound shipment schedules.
• Schedule freight carriers and assign shipments using cost-effective methods.
• Determine mode of transportation for shipments.
• Communicate with 3PL providers regarding customer-paid freight.
• Generate shipping files and labels for UPS and FedEx.
• Manage dock activity with drivers and forklift operators.
• Reconcile inventory records and investigate discrepancies.
• Review new orders and process changes affecting shipments.
