Job summary

Intuit Inc. seeks onsite TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and seamless software support at a local TurboTax office. You will collaborate with specialists to deliver end-to-end client experiences.

You’ll build lasting relationships, grow the local client base, and participate in community outreach while leveraging Intuit tools and training to serve diverse tax scenarios year-round.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, primarily 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, at least 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/photo for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Grow the local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships with TurboTax marketing tools.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Build relationships to convert one-time transactions into long-term client engagements.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, addressing tax questions and using Intuit video tools.
