Job summary

Intuit Inc. seeks motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Experts at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering end-to-end tax support in person and virtually.

Your primary focus will be full-service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support, while collaborating with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to deliver a seamless Intuit experience.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - actively grow a local customer base through outreach and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as needed.
• Build Relationships - develop long-term trust and ongoing client engagement.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professional, helpful service tailored to each client’s goals.
