Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team, working onsite at a TurboTax location to provide hands-on tax advice and full-service preparation for a diverse client base across the United States.

You will collaborate with a broader team of specialists to deliver end-to-end tax solutions, build local customer relationships, and grow the TurboTax client base through community outreach and partnerships.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training and cross-training of other products.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be used in advertising with name/photo.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and optimize taxes.
• Assist in connecting clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Grow local client base through outreach, events and partnerships.
• Represent TurboTax as a local ambassador and ensure end-to-end service with the team.
