Job summary

Thales Avionics, Inc. (AGS) is seeking a Line Maintenance Technician to perform line maintenance, installation, repair, and ground equipment maintenance on Thales In-Flight Entertainment systems in accordance with FAA regulations.

The role involves troubleshooting, documentation, and ensuring safety and reliability in a fast-paced airport environment at Boston Logan International Airport. A&P certification and compliance with security requirements are required.

Qualifications

Requires High School Diploma or GED and FAA A&P certificate.
Ability to obtain SIDA badge and pass background checks and drug test.
Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and drive a company vehicle as needed.
Strong avionics and electronics knowledge; read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with Supervisors and Customers.

Responsibilities

Perform line maintenance, installation, repair, and ground equipment maintenance on Thales IFE systems.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize aircraft downtime.
Document airline logbook discrepancies and clear them promptly.
Record maintenance activities daily and submit reports to Maintenance Supervisor.
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, safety standards, and procedures during maintenance.
