Job summary
Thales Group in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Line Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, installation, repair, and ground equipment maintenance on Thales In-Flight Entertainment systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and install IFE equipment while ensuring safety and quality compliance.
Qualifications include FAA A&P with 14 CFR 65.83, strong avionics knowledge, and ability to read blueprints.
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required; 14 CFR 65.83 compliance.
- Strong avionics/electronics knowledge with ability to read diagrams.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be able to obtain SIDA badge and pass background checks.
- English fluency required; eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance activities on all authorized Thales systems.
- Perform unscheduled maintenance and system modifications.
- Address and clear airline logbook discrepancies promptly.
- Document maintenance activities daily per procedures.
- Submit daily maintenance reports to Supervisor of Maintenance.
- Provide customers with ongoing support while adhering to company policies.
