Job summary

Thales is seeking a Line Maintenance Technician at JFK Airport to perform maintenance on Thales In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems onsite. You will troubleshoot, install and repair complex electronics with a strong focus on safety, reliability and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced airport environment.

You will document activities, adhere to FAA standards, read wiring diagrams, and communicate findings to supervisors and airline customers, ensuring high-quality service and operational

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain airport security credentials and pass background checks.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States with a valid driver license.
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aircraft systems.
• Ability to read diagrams, blueprints and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Thales IFE systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activities and logbook entries accurately.
• Comply with FAA regulations and internal procedures while working onsite.
• Communicate technical information clearly to supervisors and customers.
