Job summary

Thales is seeking a Line Maintenance Technician in Fort Lauderdale to perform line maintenance, installation, repair, and ground equipment maintenance on Thales In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems and related equipment. You will troubleshoot and install, ensuring work meets safety and quality standards while coordinating with customers and flight crews.

This fully onsite role requires strong avionics knowledge, FAA licensing, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

FAA A&P certificate required; 14 CFR 65.83 compliance.
Strong avionics/electronics knowledge; ability to read wiring diagrams.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
Obtain/maintain SIDA badge and CHRC background checks.
Must be fluent in English; eligible to work in the U.S.; punctual and team oriented.
Must possess a valid driving license and be able to operate vehicles with training.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance on all authorized Thales systems per procedures.
Perform unscheduled maintenance and system modifications on Thales systems.
Address and clear airline logbook discrepancies related to Thales systems promptly.
Document all maintenance activities daily per procedures.
Submit daily maintenance reports to the Supervisor of Maintenance.
Provide customer support while upholding company policies and procedures.
